Job description

Automated Maintenance Technician – Multiple Levels

Location: Rochester, NY.

Schedule: (4) 12‑hour rotating shifts; (2) 12‑hour days (6am‑6pm); (2) 12‑hour nights (6pm‑6am). Four days off plus crossover time. 8% shift differential on every hour worked.

Level2: Maintenance TechnicianII Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment, seeking advice from senior team members when necessary.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled.
  • Document maintenance activities and report issues.
  • Participate in simple root‑cause analysis under supervision.
  • Interpret, follow, and contribute to updates in SOPs, work instructions, and job plans.
Level2: Skill Requirements
  • Intermediate mechanical and technical skills.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

The work environment is representative of a manufacturing and laboratory setting. Responsibilities include handling viral and bacterial hazards, potentially hazardous chemicals, and infectious or potentially infectious bodily fluids, tissues, and samples. The role requires up to 50% time in meetings, 50% time at a desk on a computer, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Personal protective equipment is required. Salary Transparency

Salary range: $45,000.00 to $93,000.00, bonus eligible. Compensation decisions are based on education, experience, skills, geography, and other factors.
