Job description

Customer Success Program Manager / Field Service Representative / Business Development

Location: Clearwater, FL (Travel Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Nokturnal AI is seeking a highly motivated professional who thrives at the intersection of customer success, technical training, field operations, and business development.

This is not a traditional Program Manager or sales position.

We're looking for someone who can build lasting customer relationships, become a trusted technical advisor, train end users on cutting-edge unmanned aerial systems, represent the company in the field, and identify opportunities to expand customer partnerships.

If you enjoy working directly with customers, traveling to exciting locations, solving problems, demonstrating advanced technology, and helping grow a rapidly expanding defense technology company, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

You'll serve as the primary interface between Nokturnal AI and our customers throughout the lifecycle of each program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government, defense, and commercial customers.
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact throughout program execution.
  • Travel to customer locations to deliver aircraft, support deployments, conduct training, and provide field support.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Nokturnal AI products and systems.
  • Conduct customer demonstrations, operational training, and mission planning assistance.
  • Coordinate customer onboarding and ensure successful implementation of new systems.
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate enhancement opportunities to Engineering and Product Development.
  • Support proposal efforts, technical presentations, and customer meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for additional products, services, and follow-on business.
  • Represent Nokturnal AI at industry conferences, demonstrations, trade shows, and customer events.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful customer deliveries.
  • Travel domestically as required to support customers and business development initiatives.

What Makes You Successful

We're looking for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and excels in customer-facing environments.

The ideal candidate has experience in several of the following:

  • Customer Success
  • Program or Project Management
  • Field Service Engineering or Technical Support
  • Technical Training or Instruction
  • Business Development
  • Government or Defense Contracting
  • Aviation, Robotics, UAS, or advanced technology products

You should be comfortable speaking with executives one day, training operators the next, and supporting field operations later that week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple customer priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to quickly learn complex technical systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government customers.
  • Familiarity with unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), aerospace, robotics, AI, or defense technologies.
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical training programs.
  • Experience writing proposals or supporting capture efforts.
  • Active or previously held U.S. Security Clearance.

Why Nokturnal AI?

At Nokturnal AI, you'll help deliver next-generation autonomous aircraft systems that solve real-world national security and commercial challenges.

You'll work alongside engineers, pilots, and innovators while becoming one of the public faces of a rapidly growing technology company. Every week is different—you may be conducting customer training, supporting aircraft demonstrations, helping launch a new program, or identifying opportunities that shape the future of the business.

If you're energized by travel, technology, customer engagement, and helping a growing company expand its impact, this is the role for you.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Three weeks of paid vacation accruing on day one
  • Automatic 5% employer contribution to your 401(k) (no employee match required)
  • Professional development and continuing education opportunities

Additional Requirements

To comply with U.S. Government export control regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), applicants must qualify as a U.S. person as defined by applicable law. Employment may also be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation and satisfaction of customer contractual requirements.

Company Description

Nokturnal AI is an advanced technology company focused on developing cutting-edge systems in aerospace, AI/ML, and defense-related integration. Our work centers on building high-performance, mission-critical solutions with a strong emphasis on innovation, precision, and operational excellence.
