Job description

Sorting Robotics Inc. is currently seeking an Installation Technician to join our team. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and configuring our robotic systems at customer sites.

Preferred: Must be comfortable with cannabis (preferred you enjoy it and have experienced it) as we manufacture robotic innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Traveling to customer sites to install and configure robotic systems.
  • Performing system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.
  • Providing training and technical support to customers on the operation and maintenance of the robotic systems.
  • Collaborating with the engineering and support teams to resolve any technical issues encountered during installations.
  • Documenting installation procedures and creating installation reports.
  • Assisting with the development of standard operating procedures for installation and maintenance activities.
  • Traveling up to 100% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Managing project timelines and ensuring timely completion of installations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
