About Accenture and the Physical AI Team
Accenture's Supply Chain & Engineering team helps clients transform how physical operations are designed, simulated, automated, operated and continuously improved. Our Physical AI portfolio spans strategy and operating model, digital twins and simulation, robotics intelligence and training, orchestration, industrial integration and managed operations across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and other asset-intensive environments.
The Work:
The Robotics Services Sales Senior Manager originates, shapes and closes robotics automation and robotics-services opportunities within Accenture's broader Physical AI portfolio. The role requires a working understanding of the full Physical AI transformation, from strategy and simulation through robotics intelligence, orchestration and managed operations, combined with deep specialization in robotics automation, autonomous systems, fleet operations and production deployment.
This leader may own standalone robotics pursuits or serve as the robotics-domain sales lead within broader Physical AI transformations. The role works with account teams, industry leaders, Physical AI solution architects, robotics architects and engineers, delivery teams, commercial teams and ecosystem partners to create technically credible, commercially sound and scalable client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a robotics-services sales strategy across priority accounts and industries, aligned to the broader Physical AI portfolio and client transformation agenda.
Build and manage a qualified pipeline across industrial robotics, collaborative robots, AMRs/AGVs, mobile manipulation, machine vision, robotic material handling, inspection, intralogistics and autonomous operations.
Identify and qualify opportunities based on operational pain points such as labor constraints, throughput, cycle time, quality, safety, uptime, fleet utilization, material flow and cost per task or movement.
Build trusted relationships with operations, manufacturing, engineering, automation, supply chain, warehouse, technology and executive stakeholders.
Lead robotics pursuits from discovery and qualification through value case, solution shaping, ecosystem strategy, proposal, commercials, negotiation, contracting and delivery transition.
Serve as the robotics and automation domain sales lead in broader Physical AI pursuits involving digital twins, simulation, AI training, orchestrators, industrial data, edge platforms and managed operations.
Work with solution and technical architects to shape scalable robotics roadmaps covering pilot, production deployment, multi-site rollout, lifecycle support and operating model.
Develop commercial constructs spanning consulting, systems integration, platform-enabled services, managed robotics operations, Robotics-as-a-Service and outcome-linked services.
Ensure proposals address automation feasibility, site readiness, safety, IT/OT integration, partner and hardware responsibilities, business value, deployment risk and scale pathway
Create executive presentations, workshop materials, proposals, demonstrations, case studies and reusable sales assets that connect robotics capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
Develop joint go-to-market motions and co-sell opportunities with robotics OEMs, AMR and fleet providers, vision and sensing vendors, automation companies, NVIDIA, cloud and edge providers, and industrial software partners.
Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecast accuracy, pursuit governance, win/loss learning and transition quality.
Convert successful robotics engagements into repeatable offerings, credentials, reference patterns and scaled client programs.
Physical AI Breadth and Robotics Specialization
The role must understand how robotics services fit within an end-to-end Physical AI transformation while bringing deep robotics automation expertise.
Working understanding across Physical AI: Enterprise strategy and operating model; digital twins; discrete-event and physics-based simulation; synthetic data and robot training; robotics intelligence; orchestration; industrial data; edge/cloud platforms; managed operations and outcome-based services.
Deep specialization in robotics automation: Industrial robots, cobots, AMRs/AGVs, mobile manipulation, vision-guided automation, robot cells, controls integration, fleet operations, safety, commissioning, production support and multi-site scale.
Specialist role in broader pursuits: Translate the robotics portion of a Physical AI agenda into a value case, solution scope, partner model, commercial construct, deployment roadmap and scalable operating service.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is required for this role and could vary up to 75%
Here's what you need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
8+ years of experience across technology sales, robotics, automation consulting, industrial services, manufacturing solutions, warehouse automation or supply chain technology.
At least 3 years of experience focused on robotics, automation, autonomous systems or advanced manufacturing services.
Demonstrated record of originating and closing robotics, automation or industrial-technology services engagements with complex client stakeholders.
Experience selling consulting, solutioning, integration, implementation or managed services rather than only robotics hardware.
Working understanding of the Physical AI transformation lifecycle and the relationship among simulation, robot training, robotics deployment, orchestration and ongoing operations.
Sufficient technical knowledge of industrial robots, AMRs/AGVs, cobots, machine vision, PLC integration, fleet management and production deployment to engage credibly with engineering and operations buyers.
Experience leading cross-functional pursuits involving account, industry, technical, delivery, alliance, commercial, finance and legal stakeholders.
Ability to connect robotics technology to measurable outcomes and communicate effectively with executive, operational and technical audiences.
Bonus Points If:
Experience with robotics intelligence platforms, simulation-driven deployment, synthetic data, robot training or simulation-to-real workflows.
Experience with unified operations platforms, multi-vendor fleet orchestration, robotics control towers or managed fleet operations.
Experience scaling robotics from proof of value through production and multi-site rollout.
Experience shaping Robotics-as-a-Service, outcome-based automation, fleet operations, managed support or platform-enabled service models.
Familiarity with NVIDIA robotics and simulation technologies, cloud and edge platforms, robotics OEM ecosystems, AMR providers, fleet managers, machine-vision platforms and industrial automation vendors.
Understanding of robot safety, OT cybersecurity, commissioning, acceptance testing, change management and operating support considerations that affect client buying decisions.
Existing relationships with operations, engineering, manufacturing, warehouse, autonomy or supply chain leadership in priority industrial sectors.
Experience with robotics deployment economics, commissioning effort, hardware dependencies, fleet support, and multi-site scaling economics.
Experience at a consulting firm, systems integrator, robotics provider, automation company, industrial technology firm or related professional-services organization.
Master's degree, MBA or relevant robotics, automation, manufacturing, supply chain or technology certification.
Measures of Success
Growth and progression of qualified robotics-services pipeline.
Robotics bookings, profitable revenue and conversion of pursuits to signed work.
Quality, credibility and deliverability of robotics solutions and commercial constructs.
Conversion of pilots into production deployments, multi-site programs and lifecycle services.
Contribution of robotics expertise to broader Physical AI pursuits and account expansion.
Growth of ecosystem-generated opportunities and repeatable robotics offerings.
