Summary
As part of the AgriBusiness Technology Program, the Business Technology Solutions Lead is an individual contributor who partners with stakeholders to define, design and deliver integrated, technology enabled solutions aligned to Agribusiness business strategy. A strong emphasis for this role is placed on continuous improvement, system optimization, and consistent value delivery in a complex ag retail environment. Success is achieved through participating in-and at times leading-operational excellence initiatives that result in reliable and user friendly operational and location reporting, reduced manual work and rework through effective system integration and automation, and strong adoption of new or improved technology by location users.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders, functional experts, and IT to translate operational challenges into clear, actionable technology solutions aligned to AgriBusiness strategy.
  • Ensure cohesive Retail ERP and commercial systems and data flows to improve visibility, decision-making, and operational performance at both site and enterprise levels.
  • Improve safety, efficiency, and compliance by optimizing system-enabled workflows, reducing manual effort, and identifying technology-driven improvement opportunities.
  • Drive alignment and adoption across commercial teams, operations, logistics, procurement and IT by resolving priority and standards conflicts and supporting effective change management.

Typical Education
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
Relevant Experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, operations technology, business analysis, or process improvement preferred in an Agribusiness retail or supply chain environment.
  • Proven ability to translate operational needs into functional requirements and partner with technical teams across design, testing, implementation, and user support.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills, effective with location teams, engineers, technical partners, and senior leaders.
  • Analytical, self-driven problem solver comfortable managing multiple initiatives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Prefer experience with ERP (Agvance or SAP preferred), application integrations, data and reporting tools, and Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies. AI agent development and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience are a plus.
