Instructors teach courses in Robotics, Chess, Science, and Brain Games and more!
Pay range $15.00-$17.00 based on experience and availability.

iKids U hires staff who love to work with children! iKids Instructors teach curriculum in creative, recreational, and academic classes after school at elementary schools. Join the popular Stay, Play & Learn enrichment class to lead structured Crafts and Activities based around a weekly theme. Teach Specialty courses like our iKids Wee-botics, Chess, Science and more!
All lessons and supplies are provided by the campus supervisor. iKids Instructors lead their small group a6tivities keeping fun a top priority! iKids provides a turn-key, teaching environment that develops leadership and communication skills with elementary-age children.
Details:

  • Instructor pay range is $15-$17.00
  • Work Hours are 2:30 PM until 5 / 6:00 PM
  • iKids instructors work from 6 to 15 hours per week (no weekends)
  • Weekly schedule follows the 2026-2027 Austin elementary calendar
Required:

  • Reliable, independent transportation (multiple sites)
  • Clear background and fingerprinting checks (Upon working with iKids, reimbursement is provided)
  • Experience with children (babysitting, tutoring, monitoring, childcare)
  • Maintain a consistant, weekly teaching schedule
  • Clear background fingerprint result
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children in a group setting like camps, workshops, coaching, child therapy, substitute teaching, teaching assistant, instructional assistant, floating teacher etc.
Instructor Training and certifications in CPR/1st Aid is provided, along with your iKids T-shirt.
