About the Role:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will drive pipeline growth by researching and targeting high-potential industries and prospects. You will report to the Director of Strategic Sales and collaborate directly with Account Executives, Marketing, and Application Engineers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Pipeline Generation: Conduct methodical research to identify top companies, locations, and key contacts
- Outbound Prospecting: Execute a high volume of daily outbound calls to pre-qualify leads
- Value Messaging: Communicate Seegrid's value proposition and unique competitive differentiation clearly
- Meeting Execution: Secure qualified discovery meetings for the Strategic Sales team
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team up with Marketing and Sales to optimize prospecting strategies
- Strategic Insights: Provide feedback to leadership regarding high-value market segments
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual pipeline goals
- Face to Face Customer Engagement: Attend industry trade shows and customer site visits
Requirements & Experience:
- Proven Success: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed outbound performance goals
- Communication Skills: Exceptional cold calling, objection handling, presentation, and writing skills
- Tech Literacy: Highly proficient with Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Google Workspace
- Mindset: Self-starter, coachable, highly adaptable, and thriving in fast-paced environments
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; Marketing, Engineering, or Robotics emphasis a plus
- Travel Requirement: less than 10%
Location & Physical Requirements:
- Geography: Based in or near Pittsburgh, PA or Detroit, MI is strongly preferred
