About the Role:

As a Sales Development Representative, you will drive pipeline growth by researching and targeting high-potential industries and prospects. You will report to the Director of Strategic Sales and collaborate directly with Account Executives, Marketing, and Application Engineers.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Pipeline Generation: Conduct methodical research to identify top companies, locations, and key contacts
  • Outbound Prospecting: Execute a high volume of daily outbound calls to pre-qualify leads
  • Value Messaging: Communicate Seegrid's value proposition and unique competitive differentiation clearly
  • Meeting Execution: Secure qualified discovery meetings for the Strategic Sales team
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team up with Marketing and Sales to optimize prospecting strategies
  • Strategic Insights: Provide feedback to leadership regarding high-value market segments
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual pipeline goals
  • Face to Face Customer Engagement: Attend industry trade shows and customer site visits

Requirements & Experience:

  • Proven Success: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed outbound performance goals
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional cold calling, objection handling, presentation, and writing skills
  • Tech Literacy: Highly proficient with Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Google Workspace
  • Mindset: Self-starter, coachable, highly adaptable, and thriving in fast-paced environments
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; Marketing, Engineering, or Robotics emphasis a plus
  • Travel Requirement: less than 10%

Location & Physical Requirements:

  • Geography: Based in or near Pittsburgh, PA or Detroit, MI is strongly preferred
  • Travel: All travel will be in the USA
  • Stamina: Ability to sit, walk, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
