What You Will Do:
  • Present a professional image to customers and vendors
  • Work closely with the account manager, solutions, and Innovation Execution team to coordinate needs through the innovation lab and or in the field
  • Organize and promote solutions through the innovation lab or in the field
  • Identify data requirements and communicate with the sales and solution team to obtain the desired data
  • Perform an in-depth data analysis of the information provided to develop an innovative solution
  • Coordinate testing and solutions development in the innovation lab
  • Coordinate commissioning and testing during innovation solutions deployment at customer facilities
  • Establish the design criteria and validate with the customer solution
  • Partner with Integrated Systems to generate AutoCAD layouts of the proposed concept and budgetary capital costs
  • Help develop customer presentation of the analysis process, proposed concept, layout, budget and project justification
  • Support the account manager in the presentation of the innovation lab
  • Generate and update weekly status report

What You Will Bring:
  • Associates and/or bachelor's degree or related experience in Automation
  • 2-7 years in the automated systems field
  • Developed verbal/interpersonal skills required to maintain favorable customer relations
  • Excellent problem solving, judgment making, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies as well as a strong desire to continue learning about emerging technologies
  • Proficiency in software applications such as AutoCAD, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working in a distribution center and/or automation integration is preferred
  • Ability to learn vendor software and attend vendor training
  • Understanding of Electrical or Mechanical systems
  • Understanding of Programming basics

Pay Range: $45/hour - $60/hour
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
Work Requirements: This position is classified as remote with up to 90% travel within the United States.
  • Some weekend/night work required as needed
  • Working in office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities
  • Working in a stationary position for an extended period
  • Moving or traversing for an extended period
  • Occasional ascending and descending scaffolding and/or mezzanines
  • Operating computers for an extended period
  • Possible exposure to noise levels exceeding recommended DBA levels
  • Occasional movement and positioning of objects weighing up to 75 pounds

Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 90% of travel is required.
