A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

As an advanced Robotics Engineer in the innovation organization, you will be working in a highly motivated, experienced and interdisciplinary team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and control processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Act as a hands-on expert and advisor within robotics and factory automation initiatives. Provide deep domain expertise in industrial robotics to design, evaluate, and deploy robust robotic solutions for manufacturing environments. Ensure that robotic systems are technically sound, production-ready, and optimized for performance, safety, and lifecycle efficiency. The position requires a strategic thinker who will work closely with stakeholders in developing and shaping our products and services.

How Youโ€™ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

Architect and implement robust strategies for the safe and scalable deployment of learning-based autonomy systems in factory and field environments.

Integrate, test, and debug advanced autonomy software on physical robot hardware, ensuring seamless interaction between perception, control, and planning modules.

Ensure robotics solutions are fit-for-purpose, reliable, and scalable.

Drive optimal selection and application of robotic technologies.

Support transition from manual or semi-automated processes to robotized operations.

Problem Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing effective solutions to enhance product performance and reliability

What You Bring (requirements)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of handsโ€‘on experience with industrial robots in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of major robot platforms and ecosystem components.
  • Deep understanding of safety standards, risk assessment, and industrial compliance.
  • Experience with commissioning, debugging, and production support of robotic systems.
  • Ability to translate operational needs into robotic solutions.
  • Experiencein laboratories, test facilities, and research facilitiesconducting R&D projects
