Job description

This client is a rapidly growing robotics company that is looking for a Robotics Engineer to help design, develop, and deploy advanced robotic systems. This role is highly hands-on and focused on building reliable, intelligent robots that combine software, hardware, and automation in real-world environments. You will be mentoring interns and working in the robotics lab. This position is full-time with a hybrid schedule located in Kansas.
The client is looking for someone with experience in robotics software development, ROS/ROS2, Python/C++, motion planning, sensor integration, and debugging robotic systems. You'll work across the full robotics stack from developing and testing algorithms to integrating hardware components and improving robot performance in the field.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, robotics, and computer vision.
  • Strong expertise working with hands-on ROS/ROS2 in real world applications
  • Expertise in programming in C++ and Python
  • Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot robotic systems in real time, delivering effective solutions under pressure
  • Experience designing and executing robot data collection workflows
  • Solid foundation in computer vision, including applied techniques and model development
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Exposure to ML observability, model monitoring, drift detection, or data quality monitoring tools.
