Job description

This client is a rapidly growing robotics company that is looking for a Robotics Engineer to help design, develop, and deploy advanced robotic systems. This role is highly hands-on and focused on building reliable, intelligent robots that combine software, hardware, and automation in real-world environments. You will be mentoring interns and working in the robotics lab. This position is full-time with a hybrid schedule located in Kansas.
The client is looking for someone with experience in robotics software development, ROS/ROS2, Python/C++, motion planning, sensor integration, and debugging robotic systems. Youโ€™ll work across the full robotics stack from developing and testing algorithms to integrating hardware components and improving robot performance in the field.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, robotics, and computer vision.
  • Strong expertise working with hands-on ROS/ROS2 in real world applications
  • Expertise in programming in C++ and Python
  • Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot robotic systems in real time, delivering effective solutions under pressure
  • Experience designing and executing robot data collection workflows
  • Solid foundation in computer vision, including applied techniques and model development
