Job Description

We're looking for a curious, hands-on Automation Experience Designer who is excited to apply automation and AI tools to real business challenges. In this role, you won't just explore new technologies-you'll actively use them to design better processes and help others adopt them with confidence. Job Description:

Analyze & Improve Workflows

  • Map current processes and identify opportunities where automation or AI can add value.
  • Evaluate when to use automation vs. when a human-centered approach is more appropriate.

Build & Apply Automation Solutions

  • Design and develop solutions using RPA and AI tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, generative AI tools).
  • Select the right tools for the problem and apply them effectively to streamline work.

Design for the User Experience

  • Ensure automation solutions are intuitive, usable, and aligned with how people actually work.
  • Apply human-centered design principles when creating and refining solutions.

Enable & Train Others

  • Demonstrate how to use automation and AI tools in practical, business-relevant ways.
  • Lead training sessions (virtual and in-person) and create clear, simple learning materials.
  • Support teams in adopting new tools and building their own automation capabilities.

Support Project Delivery

  • Contribute to project planning, timelines, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and scale solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, or a related field.
  • 1+ย years of experienceย in process improvement, automation, digital transformation, business analysis, or applying AI and automation tools in a professional, internship, or co-op environment.
  • Hands-on experience using automation and/or AI tools.
  • Ability to apply AI tools to solve real problems, not just experiment with them.
  • Confidence in explaining and demonstrating tools to others in a clear, engaging way.
  • Understanding of process mapping and workflow improvement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A user-first mindset and a natural curiosity for improving how work gets done.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with tools like Power Automate, UiPath, or similar RPA platforms.
  • Familiarity with prompt design or using generative AI effectively in workflows.
  • Exposure to project management concepts or tools.
