Responsibilities That Matter

• Employ radiographic and CT techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician evaluation
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to facilitate precise diagnoses
• Accurately position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging outcomes
• Implement radiation safety protocols for the well-being of patients and staff
• Maintain meticulous records, including imaging logs and equipment checks
• Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the imaging journey
• Contribute to a safe and organized imaging environment

Education & Certification Prerequisites

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
• Completion of an accredited radiology program

Essential Certifications

• ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
• Current BLS certification or the ability to secure it within 90 days of hire

Valuable Skills and Attributes

• Familiarity with diagnostic imaging protocols along with safety standards
• Exceptional communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and swiftly adapt to evolving demands
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
• Comfort with technology including PACS, RIS, and current imaging software
