  • Answering telephones promptly and courteously with a smile.
  • Store food items per established standards of practice; utilize proper labeling and dating systems.
  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment; clean up spills quickly and wear protective gear required or needed. 
  • Communicate needs and concerns regarding food production and kitchen operation to the supervisor appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning; report any discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
  • Utilize safe food handling techniques.
  • Obtain complete knowledge of menu items and pricing structure.
  • Must be willing to take constructive criticism and follow directions.


Other: 

  • Support other staff in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately.
  • Maintain inventory of all food items and tools necessary in the assigned area.
  • Obtain complete functional knowledge of pie-line procedures in order to prepare any menu items ordered.
  • Obtain functional knowledge of oven expediting and cutting counter procedures.
  • Prepare menu items while following the proper recipes to maintain a consistent product and nutritional value.
  • Perform duties in any area assigned by management.
  • Complete all assigned cleaning and prep work.
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
  • Perform any other assignments or tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor.
  • Expect additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Physical Requirements: 

  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Attendance at work is required.
