In the role of Roadway EIT/Designer, we'll count on you to:
• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway project
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans, and construction estimate
• Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculation
• Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Roadway Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Able to develop designs using MicroStation, GEOPAK, or other transportation design software packages,
• Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
• Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Open Roads Designer.
• MS Office experience
• Preference is given to local candidate
