Perfect job for veterans, college students, gig workers, seniors, and retirees. Earn extra cash and meet new people. Easy and enjoyable job for any skill level. Roadrunners are required to work Sale Day's (Friday).

Non-CDL Driver - Local Auto Auction and Dealership Runs

We are looking for LONG TERM Roadrunners who enjoying driving in their local area. This IS NOT A TEMPORARY or SEASONAL job.

Job Scope:

  • Drive passenger vehicles to and from the auto auctions and nearby dealerships or storage lots.
  • Ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from the pickup and drop-off locations
  • Follow other vehicles or chase van in front of you
  • Follow safe driving procedures
  • Scan vehicles with a Smart phone
  • Perform a walk around visual inspection for damage before driving the vehicle
  • Work as part of a team to provide efficient and safe pickup and delivery of vehicles

Requirements:

  • 21+ years of age
  • Good Driving Record
  • Successful MVR, background and drug test
  • Ability to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly during the day
  • Ability to see clearly near and far, maintain adequate peripheral vision and perceive depth and motion as well as distinguish traffic signals and sounds.
  • Smart Phone
  • **Marijuana use or impairment is prohibited while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization**

Pay: Monday – Thursday Piece Rate (Paid per car transported) Friday (8am – 12pm) Sale Day REQUIRED $18 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7am – until done Friday 8am – 12pm

*Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time for check-in and security procedures

Work Location: Roadrunner Services at Auto Auction 1245 East Forest Ave. Des Plaines, IL 60018
