About the Role:
Road One Mobile Inc is looking for an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Ontario, CA! This is a great opportunity to put your skills to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where your expertise keeps our fleet running strong. If you're passionate about diesel engines and take pride in quality work, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles
  • Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks
  • Troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulic system failures
  • Conduct DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet compliance and safety standards
  • Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Complete accurate repair orders and maintenance documentation
  • Coordinate with fleet managers to prioritize repairs and minimize vehicle downtime
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience required
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, etc.)
  • Experience with electronic diagnostic tools such as Nexiq, Jaltest, or similar
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards
  • ASE certification or equivalent trade school training preferred
  • Must supply own set of professional hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently
