Job description

Position Summary: TRP Construction Group, LLC is currently seeking full-time Laborer: Pavement Marking (Handline Thermo) to join our team. The role focuses on performing handline thermo pavement marking to improve road safety and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. This position involves hands-on work in outdoor environments and requires dedication to quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Perform handline thermo pavement marking and other related striping tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Assist in traffic control setup to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain equipment and vehicles in working order, ensuring spray systems and truck-mounted equipment are properly loaded and clean.
  • Complete equipment repair reports and pre/post-trip inspection forms accurately.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures strictly to ensure team and public safety.
  • Maximize production efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience operating hand machines, forklifts, hand grinders, 3M hand-tape and adhesive applicators, and hand-roller tamper carts.
  • Ability to install Preformed Thermo/Hot Tape.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
  • Pass company background checks including criminal record, driving record, and controlled substance testing.
  • Knowledge of local driving regulations and road safety practices.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to use smartphones and relevant applications for job functions.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 pounds regularly and over 100 pounds occasionally).
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and noisy environments.
