Job description

KI, a world-class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions, has a position available for an Over the Road Truck Driver.

The Over the Road Truck Driver requires a Class A CDL with no restrictions. The driver will operate tractor trailer units for extended periods of time, over long distances between the company and customer facilities, yards, or work sites to pick up, transport and deliver freight in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Drivers must be able to plan trip breaks and fuel stops and also be able to manage unforeseen circumstances due to weather, traffic, construction, and city or rural driving conditions.  

Qualifications and Requirements:
•    21 years of age
•    Minimum of 2 years of recent commercial driving experience or has graduated a truck driving school or certified training program
•    No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
•    3 years of accident-free driving experience
•    Knowledge of all applicable DOT regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

This position pays $0.71/mile and also pays for unloading, layover, waiting, stop, and local. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate.
