Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) travel jobs are surgical positions in which you travel to other hospitals or are on call to provide RNFA travel assistance for hospitals that are short-staffed. The role of the RNFA is to assist the surgeon and the scrub nurse with all aspects of the procedure. As an RNFA, you have significant responsibilities in the operating theater, and your duties include using medical instruments, such as scalpels and suction, creating exposure to the surgical site, and ensuring homeostasis. At the end of surgery, you help to suture and provide post-operative advice about incision management to the patient.
