This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Cardiac OR RNFA - Travel Nursing OpportunityShift Details
  • Shift structure: 3x12-hour shifts
  • 36 or 48 hours per week available
  • Primarily weekdays, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
  • On-call responsibilities per unit need
Position Overview
  • Cardiac OR RNFA role within an active cardiac surgical program
  • RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing
  • RNFA must be able to independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs
  • Preferred, but not required: ability to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases
  • Preferred, but not required: ability to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases, which may include:
    • CABGs
    • Structural heart cases (e.g., Bentall)
    • Minimally invasive procedures (e.g., Mini Aortic Valve Replacement)
    • Heart failure cases (e.g., Impella)
  • Heart transplants are performed at this facility; experience in heart transplant is preferred
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
  • Active New York State (NYS) RN license - NY license only
  • BLS Certification - American Heart Association only
  • ACLS Certification - American Heart Association only
  • CNOR Certification
  • Telemetry experience
