Location: Ascent Behavioral Hospital โ€“ Millcreek, UT

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN

We are looking for dedicated Registered Nurses to join our interdisciplinary team in a supportive and safe environment where safety, integrity, respect, and excellence are our highest standards.

The Role

As an RN, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, supporting individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians and therapists to ensure the delivery of safe and effective psychiatric services. You will be a cornerstone of our patient-centered care model, requiring clinical expertise and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Clinical Care: Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress.
  • Medical Tasks: Administer medications, perform phlebotomy as needed, and conduct skin checks and nutrition reviews.
  • Crisis Management: Participate in de-escalation, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Family Engagement: Communicate health and treatment updates effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Supervision: Oversee medication administration systems and train staff on best practices for hygiene and infection control.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Current, valid RN licensure in the state of Utah.
  • Active CPR and First-Aid certification.
  • Ability to pass a federal background check.
