Job description

CentraCare invites passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the St. Cloud Hospital. CentraCare is known for its dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. As an ICU RN, you will be part of a team that prioritizes excellence in healthcare and have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of critically ill patients and their families.

Schedule

  • Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks | 12-hour Day/Night rotation | 7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am | every other weekend and holiday

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay based on experience and degree
    • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $42.86 per hour
    • Bachelor's in nursing starting at $44.34 per hour
    • Master's in nursing starting at $45.82 per hour
    • Pay range: $42.86- $71.51 per hour
  • Up to $5000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates!

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program 
  • Current Minnesota RN License 
  • BSN or higher required within three (3) years of being hired
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card 
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required (with the exception of casual staff) or obtained within 36 months; required prior to obtaining code blue competency
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred

The ICU is a GOLD-level Beacon Award-winning unit in our five-time Magnet-designated hospital! Our team provides care within our 29-bed unit with approximately 110 RNs. 

To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

To be eligible for the relocation assistance, you must accept a full time or part time benefited position and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. You must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it with 120 days of employment.
