Job description

Registered Nurse - PACU Registered Nurse Livingston, Montana Travel

Registered Nurse - PACU (Pediatric)

Livingston, Montana

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to pediatric patients in the PACU setting
  • Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
  • Administer medications and interventions as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Communicate effectively with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare staff
  • Document patient assessments, care provided, and progress accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Experience in PACU or post-operative nursing care
  • Experience working with pediatric patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • PALS certification
  • Prior experience in a pediatric PACU or surgical setting
  • Familiarity with pre-operative assessment and patient preparation workflows
