RN - Cath Lab/EP Lab Tech

Location: Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, Ga

Responsibilities:

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications: Education
  • Graduate of an accredited a RCIS program Required or
  • Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required or
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology Required
Work Experience
  • No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program Required or
  • 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license . Upon Hire Required or
  • If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however, RCIS must be obtained within 2 Years Required and
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
  • ACLS Upon Hire Required
