RN - Behavioral Health - Inpatient

Location: Brattleboro, VT 05302

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | 36 Hour GTD | Every Other Weekend

Job Description:

Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions. Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.

The Adult Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offers 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment that's designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery. Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while also managing co-occurring psychiatric issues (such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, etc.). The Adult Co-occurring Disorders treatment team specializes in providing high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and the education needed to ensure a strong and successful recovery.

Requirements:

  • Psych/Behavioral Health Experience - Required
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience but Will Consider First Time Travelers - Required
  • Must Be Willing to Float to Other Units
  • Must Be Willing to Take Charge RN Shifts
  • Please Outline What Patient Populations Your Traveler Has Experience With.
  • Any Scheduling Requests Must Be Presented in the Submission File.

Certification Requirements:
