A Snapshot of Your Day
The RLA Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for completing sales estimates, customer presentations, technical/commercial proposals for the in-country Sales team including project take-offs, specification interpretation, contract reviews and associated activities for Open Market and Long-Term Service Agreement Customers.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Manage the integration of multiple product line parts and services into consolidated proposals to meet customer technical, commercial, and contractual requirements while ensuring competitiveness; coordinate interpretation of bid documents to ensure Siemens Energy, Inc. proposals are fully compliant.
  • Accurately review and integrate labor, material, and equipment costs; provide technical support and advice to Sales and Operations teams, assist in establishing pricing levels, and verify subcontractor and vendor costs.
  • Acts as external liaison working with clients to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, with a clear understanding of market conditions, customer needs, and competitors across the RLA region.
  • With Sales, Operations, and Project Managers, complete site walk-downs to determine client needs and ensure project requirements are met, including safety standards; provide and evaluate subcontractor bid packages and accurate job estimates, developing alternative solutions when possible.
  • Facilitate project closure turnover meetings between assigned Sales and Operations employees.
  • Maintain and increase technical knowledge of company products, applications, and services; keep abreast of new product information, educate others, and provide guidelines that add value to the platform team.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience (15+ preferred); excellent knowledge of GP/SPG products and services applicable to the Siemens Energy, Inc. or equivalent fleet in RLA, with solid understanding of GT, ST, and/or Generator technical aspects.
  • Proven ability to develop technical scope and effectively train others on product applications, with strong organizational, project management, and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated customer-facing experience in technical presentations and dealings, including prior exposure to RLA customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; ability to travel (up to 20%) without restrictions.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
