The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG is hiring now for a Program Analyst supporting Navy SSP at SPA Maritime Plaza. Local travel in the National Capital Region is expected.
Responsibilities
The Program Analyst will provide technical and programmatic systems engineering support to the TRIDENT II missile program within SSP. They will support headquarters level planning, development and execution for a variety of activities including systems integration, systems engineering technical reviews, and system trade studies for the upcoming TRIDENT II missile system. The Analyst will directly support Systems Engineering Branch program managers and engineers in the development and oversight of schedules, coordination of Government Furnished Information, and risk management. Travel 1-3 times/year is required.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Reports to work in the Metro DC area at a minimum of 3 days per week, up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • U.S. citizen with SECRET clearance or higher with ability to maintain clearance while employed with SPA.
  • 5+ years professional experience with defense programs.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).
  • Experience working with DoD engineering and acquisition processes.
  • Experience with US Government acquisition, US government budgeting and project planning.
