Location:- McLean - Virginia

Duration:-12 months+

We are seeking a Risk Control Tester to join the Operation Risk Management (ORM) team working to test ORM and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls. This role is pivotal in our AI transformation strategy. You will not only execute risk testing but will act as a primary driver in integrating Gemini AI to automate manual workflows. The role will require someone who is an effective communicator and able to partner with others to understand the controls, share the feedback, and close any gaps in the process.ย  The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between risk rigor and AI operationalization, ensuring that we achieve efficiency gains without compromising auditability or accuracy.

Core Responsibilities

ยท AI-Driven Testing Automation:ย Lead the assessment and implementation of Gemini AI solutions across our control inventory. You will be responsible for defining, testing, and refining prompts to automate data extraction, reconciliation, and control testing workflows.

ยท Pipeline Optimization:ย Leverage advanced Gemini features to synthesize data across multiple disparate documents and files, reducing reliance on manual copy-paste workflows.

ยท Hallucination Management & Reliability:ย Establish "human-in-the-loop" validation processes. You will be expected to critically review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, identify false positives or hallucinations, and refine testing methodologies to ensure defendable, audit-ready outcomes.

ยท Data Connectivity Workarounds:ย Develop and maintain operational workarounds to bridge data gaps where direct connectivity is limited to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

ยท Audit Readiness:ย Maintain rigorous documentation standards. You are responsible for ensuring that all AI-assisted test results are fully transparent, reproducible, and compliant with corporate standards, addressing current gaps in sourcing and audit trail documentation.

ยท Stakeholder Collaboration:ย Partner with control owners to socialize findings, update testing plans, and track recommendations.ย  You will need identify gaps in the process or when the control was not executed appropriately.ย ย 

Basic Qualifications & Skills

ยท Risk & Control Expertise:ย At least 1 year of experience in Risk Management, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Quality Assurance, or Process Management.

ยท Gemini AI Proficiency:ย At least 1 year experience in Demonstrable experience in prompt and operationalizing Gemini AI within a business environment. Experience with Google Workspace "Projects" and data synthesis across multiple files is highly preferred.

ยท Critical Thinking & Analytical Rigor:ย Ability to maintain a "trust but verify" mindset regarding AI outputs. Experience in identifying errors, outliers, and data inconsistencies is essential.

ยท Communication:ย Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. ย  Ability to document and explain control test findingsย  to internal stakeholders, auditors, and non-technical partners.
