Job Overview
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Manage regional distribution centers (RDCs) operations while leading the development, implementation, & enforcement of company-wide trade compliance policies
  • Ensure adherence to U.S. & international customs, import/export control, & sanctions regulations across all global transactions, minimizing risk
  • Responsible for driving performance improvements across RDCs, including maintaining optimal inventory levels, establishing relevant KPIs, and ensuring top-tier delivery performance while supporting cost-effective operations.
  • Optimize inventory performance by implementing strategies to reduce non-moving stock, increase inventory turnover per part, and minimize the risk of acquiring additional slow-moving items.
  • Collaborate with Hensley ICT and SAP consultants to maintain FTP and EDI communication channels between the RDCs' inventory management systems and Hensley's SAP S/4HANA IM/WM platform, ensuring seamless data integration and efficient system performance.
  • Manage trade compliance programs and conduct internal audits.
  • Ensure Hensley remains current with evolving trade regulations, including but not limited to PFAS, CBAM, REACH, EUDR, Prop 65, Russian Steel Declaration, Full Material Disclosure (FMD), Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, and Country of Origin (COO) requirements.
  • Manage our duty drawback program.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records for all import and export activities, ensuring proper documentation, tracking, and retention in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree: Business Administration or related field of study
  • At least 3 years of International Trade compliance experience
  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Excel
  • SAP or equivalent ERP system experience
