Jensen Hughes is looking to hire and Intern for our Concord, CA office.ย  ย ย 

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of technical, both routine and moderately complex tasks that provide familiarity with programs, staff, and operating procedures.ย 
  • Collaborate and work under the direction of engineers to support Probabilistic Risk Analysis development and application
  • Performs developmental assignments involving the application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out routine engineering tasks under close supervision.ย 
  • Applies prescribed method to complete limited and specific portions of the broader assignment of an experienced engineer, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.ย 

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or other related engineering fieldsย 
  • At least two years of undergraduate schooling
  • Responsible self-starter with problem solving and reasoning skills
  • Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills to write reports, business correspondence, presentations and procedure manuals, and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the public
  • Passion for advancing the science of making our world safe, secure and resilient and exceeding our client expectations
