We are looking for a visionary Software Architect to lead the end-to-end design of a scalable software foundation for our next-generation 64-bit RISC-V multi-processor SoC-PIC64. You will bridge the gap between high-level concept and deployment-ready reality, ensuring our platform meets the rigorous reliability and security standards of the Aerospace, Defense, and Automotive industries.

Our Team

We are building software for Microchip's leading-edge, high-performance 64-bit System-on-Chip (SoC) devices, such as the PIC64HX and PIC64HPSC-our first RISCV offering designed for Aerospace & Defense (A&D) and industrial markets.

These SoCs integrate clusters of highperformance CPUs running Linux or an RTOS, and provide advanced connectivity such as Ethernet/TSN, Ethernet switching, and PCIe/CXL, along with additional peripheral interfaces and specialized functions.

Our software serves as thefoundation for missionfocused solutionsdeveloped by our customers forcontrol and autonomous systemsinspace, aerospace, automotive, and other markets. We focus ontechnical excellence, teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvementin an open and dynamic environment.

    • Mener l'architecture: Definir l'architecture logicielle de bout en bout d'un nouveau SoC RISCV, en veillant au respect d'exigences strictes en temps reel, performance et securite.
    • Definir les normes et gouvernance : Etablir des standards de codage et des lignes directrices d'architecture alignes sur les meilleures pratiques (A&D/Automobile). Mettre en place une gestion rigoureuse des exigences et une tracabilite de bout en bout.
    • Mentorer techniquement : Animer des comites d'architecture et des revues techniques, en apportant direction et mentorat aux equipes d'ingenierie afin d'assurer une rigueur de conception constante.
    • Gerer le cycle de vie du produit : Superviser les conceptions logicielles, les implementations et les preuves de verification. S'assurer que tous les enregistrements objectifs (Jira/outils de cycle de vie) repondent aux attentes qualite des clients.
    • Collaborer : Agir comme visage technique de l'architecture lors des echanges avec les clients. Collaborer avec les equipes Marketing et Applications pour influencer la feuille de route produit et assurer la reussite client.

    • Technical Mastery: Strong expertise in RTOS, multi-processor architectures, and low-level programming (C/C++ and Python).
