• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when required.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all procedures, assist in training new personnel or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Foster a clean and safe workspace, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of employment.
