Social Media & Growth Marketer

Job description

Social Media & Growth Marketer
Why Zania
Every enterprise spends millions of dollars on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). It's one of the most critical, yet universally painful, parts of running a business. For decades, this industry has been dominated by legacy systems with notoriously low NPS scores, making it totally ripe for disruption.
Zania is building agentic AI for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to solve this massive problem. We are on a rocketship trajectory, creating intelligent agents that automate and augment the most complex risk and compliance workflows. We have found exceptional product-market fit and are scaling our team very quickly. Some reasons to join Zania are:
  • Dream Customers: Our customers are the most notable enterprises in the world, including FAANG, Big 4 firms and a portfolio of top customers.
  • Tier 1 Backing: Funded by a leading Tier 1 venture capital fund, giving us the resources to build a generational company.
  • World-Class Team: Zania is hiring the best. Our team includes AI and Security leaders from Airbnb, Microsoft, Bain & Company, Deloitte, PwC, Brex, and Instacart.
  • Pioneering Technology: Our engineers and GRC experts work at the absolute forefront of applied AI, building the next generation of agentic systems that will define the future of compliance.
  • Hyper-Growth: We have seen 10x ARR growth in the last year and are rapidly expanding.
  • Competitive Compensation & Equity.

Role Overview
This isn't a traditional marketing role. It's a creative challenge.
Zania is growing fast. We're not interested in doing what everyone else in GRC is doing - the same LinkedIn carousel posts, the same "AI is transforming compliance" takes, the same forgettable content. We need someone who thinks differently and executes fast.
You'll own Zania's social presence and be responsible for making us impossible to ignore in the enterprise security and GRC space - with bold ideas, sharp creative instincts, and zero tolerance for generic.
What You'll Do
  • Own our social voice: Build and run Zania's network and presence across LinkedIn and other channels. You'll develop a distinct point of view that cuts through the noise - not just scheduled posts.
  • Generate bold, original ideas: We don't want a playbook. We want creativity that makes GRC and security leaders stop scrolling. Surprise us.
  • Move fast: Low budget, high output. You'll concept, create, and publish with short turnarounds. No waiting for agencies or approval chains.
  • Stay enterprise-relevant: Bold doesn't mean reckless. Everything should be credible and land with a senior enterprise audience - CISOs, compliance leads, risk officers.
  • Collaborate closely with founders: You'll work directly with us to shape how Zania shows up in the world. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role.

What We Care About
  • You have a sharp creative instinct and can back it up with work - show us, don't tell us.
  • You're not afraid to try things that haven't been done in this space before.
  • You understand LinkedIn, X, YouTube and other channels or are hungry to master them fast.
  • You can execute independently with little to no budget.
  • You have taste. You know the difference between content that earns attention and content that fills a calendar.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, or growth marketing, with a portfolio demonstrating original, high-quality creative work
  • Proven ability to independently concept, create, and publish content across LinkedIn for a professional or enterprise audience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - you will craft Zania's public voice and your work must resonate credibly with senior enterprise buyers including CISOs and compliance leaders

How to Apply
Skip the resume. Send us one piece of social content - a post, a campaign concept, a creative angle, whatever format you think lands best. Write it as Zania.
Make something creative that would stand out. Something we'd fall in love with and be excited about. Something we can't ignore.
The bar is simple: would a CISO stop scrolling for this? Would we actually post it?
Location
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) Palo Alto, working in-person with the team five days a week.

Compensation and benefits
  • Flexible PTO policy.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Meals and snacks in the office
  • Relocation support
