Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Lawrenceville & Dacula is looking for a high-performing Licensed Journeyman Plumber who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship, creating five-star customer experiences, and consistently producing strong results.
The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience diagnosing, selling, installing, and repairing complex residential plumbing systems, including tankless and tank water heaters, whole-house water filtration, reverse osmosis, gas piping, water and drain re-pipes, PRVs, water service lines, sewer systems, well systems, pump systems, and advanced leak diagnostics. Candidate must understand plumbing code requirements, proper sizing, venting, pressure regulation, system layout, installation best practices, testing procedures, and how to clearly explain repair or replacement options to homeowners.
This is a strictly commission-based position with a tiered weekly commission structure based on total collected sales volume. This role is designed for a high-performing plumber who can work independently, produce sold work, and complete jobs correctly the first time. Candidate must also be comfortable working with an installer or helper on larger or more labor-intensive jobs based on job type, scope, and company needs.

• Sell repair and replacement work through honesty, education, professionalism, and technical expertise
• Ability to work professionally with installers, helpers, and apprentices on larger jobs while maintaining quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Wear floor savers in the client’s home and maintain a clean work area
• Thoroughly test all repairs and installations before leaving the jobsite
• Clearly explain each completed service and make sure the customer is fully satisfied before leaving
• Maintain a safety-conscious attitude on the job and while driving
• Keep company vehicles clean, stocked, organized, and professional
• Leave the work area clean after every job
• Deliver clean, correct, high-quality workmanship that reduces callbacks and warranty claims
Required Experience
• Licensed Journeyman residential plumbing experience required. Must be capable of independently diagnosing, selling, and completing residential plumbing repairs and installations without supervision
• 5+ years of residential service plumbing experience preferred
• Strong experience with tankless and tank water heaters, water filtration systems, water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, gas piping, fixture installations, drain and water repipes
• Ability to diagnose and repair water pressure issues, water quality concerns, concealed leaks, slab leaks, underground water leaks, water service lines, and pressure reducing valves (PRVs)
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing residential well systems, including well pumps, pressure tanks, pressure switches, and control boxes
• Experience performing camera inspections and diagnosing sewer issues
• Experience installing and repairing sump pumps, sewage ejector pumps, grinder pumps, and sewer systems
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and in-home sales ability with a proven track record of converting opportunities into sold work
• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners, present repair and replacement options, and deliver a high-quality customer experience
• High standard of workmanship, cleanliness, testing, documentation, and customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
• Active Georgia Journeyman License is required
• Backflow Certification preferred. Candidates who are not currently certified must be willing to pursue certification and pass the required state exam within a company-approved timeframe
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus
• Experience with Navien, Rinnai, Bradford White, AO Smith, Rheem, Ruud, HALO, NOVO, and other professional-grade residential water heating and water treatment products
Performance Requirements
Applicants should be prepared to discuss and provide verifiable performance metrics from a current or previous CRM system, including:

General Requirements
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background check and drug screenings, including periodic screenings throughout employment
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, and on ladders
• Reliable, honest, and able to work independently
• Serious about career growth and ongoing training
• Availability for emergency calls and weekend rotation
• Must live within approximately 35 miles of our Lawrenceville location
Compensation
This is not an hourly position. Pay is strictly commission-based. The hourly range shown is only an estimated earnings equivalent based on performance and weekly collected sales volume. Compensation is paid through a tiered weekly commission structure, with higher weekly production qualifying for higher commission tiers.
This position is best suited for an experienced, high-performing licensed plumber who is confident in their ability to sell, convert, and complete residential plumbing work at an elevated level.
Bonus opportunities may be available based on performance, customer satisfaction, low callback rate, and company goals.
