Meyer Distributing is looking for a Box Machine Operator to join our Kingman, AZ team!
The Box Machine Operator is responsible for sorting, preparing and packaging products requiring custom packaging. The Ideal candidate will consider safety, quality and team work to a high regard ,and work well in a team environment.
Hourly Rate for Box Machine Operator:
  • $17.00 with opportunities for increases through performance reviews

Schedule: (End times may vary)
  • (1st shift)-Box Machine Operator: Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

(Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours)
Requirements for Box Machine Operator:
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting
  • Must have the ability to stand, walk, and squat for duration of shift
  • Must be able to operate equipment, be able to to work up to 25 feet above ground level and not be afraid of heights.
  • Must have ability to endure extreme hot and cold temperatures and humidity and work in a noisy environment.
  • Talking ,hearing and seeing are essential

Box Machine Operator duties include but are not limited to:
  • Ability to give special attention to detail required. Must have ability to identify letters and numbers.
  • Must be comfortable with computer to complete basic functions.
  • Must adapt to changes in the work environment , manage competing demands and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
  • The individual is consistently at work and on time. follows instructions and responds to management direction
  • Must have ability to orally communicate with co-workers, supervisors and other employees

  • Ensure Box Machine and work area is clean and neat before leaving EOD
  • Place necessary labels on packed products
  • Stages product for shipping in proper location for UPS/Fed EX/TL/truck shipments
  • Scans product using handheld scanners
