The Opportunity:


As the Rig Assistant, you will be responsible for providing our clients with best-in-class service. Your responsibilities will include assisting the ERU Operator with continuous rod services on our clients wells, inspecting and maintaining tools, lifting equipment, and safety equipment, as well as maintaining the Endless Rod Unit, crew vehicle, and doghouse. To guarantee success, you will possess a strong, safety-minded attitude at all times.



Responsibilities:


In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:

  • Assist the ERU operator working on our continuous rod service equipment and work well in a team environment to complete tasks safely and efficiently while servicing wells
  • Demonstrate a high level of safety leadership on and off the wellsite by actively participating in daily safety meetings, JSA review, hazard assessments, and safety drills
  • Maintain and promote positive relationships with crew members
  • Properly handle continuous rod to eliminate risk exposure and ensure product integrity for downhole performance
  • Maintain a highly clean working environment on the client’s wellsite and in the service unit, crew truck, and doghouse
  • Ensure all required paperwork is completed thoroughly, accurately, and timely as required
  • Perform all required preventive maintenance checks, inspections, and tasks
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to mitigate or eliminate workplace hazards
  • Comply with all industry, regulatory, and company standards, regulations
Requirements:

Your Qualifications and Experience:


  • Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • Oil Field experience preferred
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs, pass an alcohol & drug test as this is a safety sensitive role with a negative test result and pass physical fit assessment test
