Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager
Location: Knoxville, TN (Headquarters)
Region Covered: East Tennessee (4 branch offices)

Company Overview:
  • A well-established HVAC/R wholesale distribution company serving East Tennessee since 1973. With a strong reputation for quality products and customer service, we are seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to help guide our continued growth and ensure a consistent and professional market presence.
Position Summary:
  • The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a small team of outside sales representatives across four East Tennessee offices. This role is based in the Knoxville office and will also oversee all aspects of the company’s marketing efforts, both digital and physical branding. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial sales and sales team management, along with hands-on marketing experience
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, coach, and support the outside sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ride-a-longs to evaluate sales techniques and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with branch managers to align sales efforts with local opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
 
Marketing Oversight:
  • Manage and execute the company’s digital marketing strategy (website, social media, email campaigns, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent brand presence across all channels, including logos, vehicle wraps, signage, uniforms, and printed materials.
  • Work with vendors, designers, and internal teams to keep all marketing and branding materials up-to-date and aligned with the company's image.
  • Analyze digital metrics to assess effectiveness and adjust campaigns accordingly.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in industrial B2B sales, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or related sectors.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales team management experience.
  • Solid background in digital marketing and brand management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally to support and coordinate across branch locations.
  • Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Business, Meta Ads, Constant Contact or Mailchimp).
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the HVAC, automotive, or plumbing supply industry.
  • Knowledge of East Tennessee market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory/sales software systems.
