Join Our Team as a Rheumatologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated Rheumatologist to become part of our Internal Medicine team. This position offers a remarkable work-life balance, including over 35 days for continuing medical education (CME), vacation, and sick leave when necessary. We are particularly interested in candidates who are committed to academic medicine and are eager to participate in both teaching and research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a dynamic consultation service at our medical center and outpatient clinics.
  • Provide both outpatient and inpatient care at the Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
  • Share inpatient service responsibilities among physicians, with plans to expand our division to lessen individual call requirements.
  • Collaborate with excellent support staff for prior authorization tasks and work alongside a nurse practitioner in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and scholarly activities.
  • Willingness to engage with fellows, residents, and students on a weekly basis.
  • Experience or interest in clinical trials and health services research.

The Division of Rheumatology currently consists of 5.5 faculty members, with plans to expand to 9 full-time positions. We prioritize faculty development and physician wellness, offering various programs such as:
