We're looking for a RF Test Engineer to join the Spectacles team!

What you'll do:

  • Develop test solutions (both hardware and software) used to test the RF and wireless subsystems of Spectacles.

  • Create test plans and report creation tools that support the validation of those wireless subsystems.

  • Author clear and comprehensive documentation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Fundamental understanding of RF engineering principles and measurements at the physical layer

  • Understanding the test methodology for wireless standards such as WiFi, Bluetooth, BLE, cellular, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to use AND automate common RF and electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signaling and non-signaling testers, and power supplies.

  • Ability to create test environments using Python, Labview, or other software tools

  • Direct experience automating and/or scripting android and/or linux embedded devices.

  • Experience developing data processing tools to analyze and present test data.

  • Statistical analysis experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as electrical engineering, software engineering or equivalent years of experience

  • Demonstrated experience developing testing environments and solutions for circuits and systems

  • Experience working with android and/or linux based devices

  • Ability to travel including domestic and international (up to 15%)

  • 7+ years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in RF/Electrical engineering or related field

  • Experience performing RF measurements in a lab environment such as ALCR, EVM, receiver sensitivity, out-of-band emissions, etc.

  • Ability to debug hardware and software products and/or tools.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $190,000-$284,000 annually.


Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $181,000-$270,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $162,000-$241,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
