Today, BRINC deploys Drone as First Responder (DFR) networks that dispatch drones directly to 911 calls, providing real-time aerial intelligence before ground units arrive and helping first responders make faster, safer decisions. BRINC serves more than 1,000 public safety customers across all 50 states, is the sole drone supplier to Motorola Solutions, and has raised more than $280 million from leading strategic and technology investors, including Motorola Solutions, Index Ventures, Sam Altman, Dylan Field, and others. BRINC is recruiting exceptional engineers to build the next generation of autonomous emergency-response technology, including flight-critical firmware and advanced pilot-assistance capabilities.

You will collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to develop test procedures and improve product designs based on test results.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test hardware setups, fixtures, and automated testing systems for drone RF subsystems
  • Define and execute test plans to validate RF subsystems and how they interact with the rest of the drone .
  • Develop and maintain test scripts and software for automated testing.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues, providing recommendations for design improvements.
  • Conduct environmental and stress testing to ensure product durability in real-world conditions.
  • Work with engineering teams to refine designs based on test results and failure analysis.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and issue resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field or relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in RF testing, preferably in UAVs, robotics, or consumer electronics.
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment such as VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Wideband Radio Communication testers, and signal analyzers.
  • Experience with automated test development using Python, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and RF systems.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with LTE, GNSS and WiFi
  • Knowledge of regulatory testing and compliance for RF subsystems.
  • Familiarity with antenna design.
  • Experience with PCB debugging and hardware validation methodologies.
