Job description

At Axon, weโ€™re on a mission to Protect Life. Weโ€™re explorers pursuing societyโ€™s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. We value diverse perspectives and teamwork. Life at Axon is fastโ€‘paced, challenging, and meaningful. Youโ€™ll own projects, drive real change, and grow in a missionโ€‘driven environment where you matter.

Our mission is to protect life.

Weโ€™re out to make the world a safer place by solving big problems and taking on public safety challenges. From our companyโ€™s inception building TASER devices to a full suite of hardware and software solutions, we focus on providing police agencies with stateโ€‘ofโ€‘theโ€‘art devices and services they need to serve and protect. In the next few years, weโ€™ll eliminate the burden of paperwork in policing, so officers can spend more time building relationships. Weโ€™ll put video at the heart of police records so the justice system can reach truth faster, and we wonโ€™t stop innovating until the bullet is rendered obsolete. Itโ€™s a big mission, but we pursue it relentlessly every day.

Details

Location: Onโ€‘site 4 days per week at one of our US hubs (Scottsdale, Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, or Seattle)

Role: Senior RF Engineer II on the Wireless & Connectivity Center of Excellence (CoE) team

Your Impact

As a Senior RF Engineer II you will lead the design and development of advanced wireless connectivity solutions across our product portfolioโ€”including Bodyโ€‘Worn Cameras, inโ€‘vehicle systems, wearables, and other nextโ€‘generation platforms. You will own RF architecture and implementation across a broad range of wireless technologies, from Wiโ€‘Fi + Bluetooth combo modules to detailed chipโ€‘down cellular designs, covering PCB layout, RF routing, matching networks, and antenna port optimization. Your deep expertise in LTE, 5G, Wiโ€‘Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and related systems will be applied to handsโ€‘on design, validation, and performance optimization of missionโ€‘critical video and communications products serving law enforcement, public safety, and enterprise customers. You will leverage technical depth, disciplined engineering approach, passion for wireless innovation, and strong ownership mindset to deliver robust, highโ€‘performance designs meeting demanding reliability and coexistence requirements of realโ€‘world public safety environments. In addition to leading complex RF circuit designs, you will collaborate closely with global crossโ€‘functional teamsโ€”spanning industrial design, hardware, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and regulatoryโ€”to deliver worldโ€‘class products at scale. As a senior technical contributor, you will influence architectural decisions, drive best practices in RF design and validation, and mentor engineers to elevate overall technical capability.
