22104-1 Embedded Software Engineer Level 5, Grand Prairie, TX (Secret Clearance)

DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement embedded software. Team members will analyze algorithm descriptions provided by systems engineering and existing software code base to determine best architectural changes to software. Software will be developed using Agile methodology. Software is written in C++ however some algorithms are still written Ada; hence knowledge of C++ is required while knowledge of Ada would be beneficial. Experience with RTI DDS is a plus, as it is being developed for a Linux/Rocky target from both Linux/Rocky and Windows hosts. Responsibilities will include software development from requirement analysis to integration, acceptance test, and delivery.

MANDATORY:
  • Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Real-time embedded software development experience using C++ programming language with Linux.
  • Integration and test experience involving software and hardware.

DESIRED:
  • Knowledge of Publish / Subscribe communication protocol Data Distribution Services (DDS) by RTI is preferred.
  • Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA).
  • Experience developing C-Make.
  • Embedded real-time Ada programming language familiarity.
  • Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams.
  • GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.
