Key Responsibilities:

  • Radar Frequency Engineering: The RF Engineer will be responsible for supervising contractor design, performance testing, analysis, and verification

  • Requirements Testing: Supporting major milestones and testing events and reviewing requirements and test documents

  • Advising the Government: Reviewing the performance and testing results, then advising the Government on the success or failure of the test and design

  • Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews and advise the Government on performance and design risks

  • Mission Payloads: Perform on a team that oversees all aspects of the design and build of the RF mission payload

Basic Compensation:

$162,000 - $203,000 USD annually

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-site

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel

  • Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with a Polygraph

  • Education: BS in Engineering, Scientific, or Technical discipline

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 12 years of relevant experience

  • System Design and Development: System design trade process, assessing system design options, analyzing mission requirements, monitoring system development, test development/execution

  • Radar Systems at the Chantilly Customer: Experience designing and evaluating RF system design Experience with Customer mission programs and enterprise

Desired:

  • RF Acquisition and Sustainment: 3+ years' experience with Customer space and RF systems acquisition and/or sustainment

  • RF Systems Engineering: Understanding RF systems engineering, acquisition, and operations best practices

  • RF Protection Technologies: Experience with RF protection technologies
