Traveling Physical Therapist Role in Winston-Salem, NC

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Winston-Salem, NC, providing home health services where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • Home Health experience required, including proficiency with OASIS documentation.
  • Experience with Home Care HomeBase (HCHB) electronic medical record preferred.
  • Ability to meet productivity requirement of approximately 30 visits per week as required by the client.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned counties: Forsyth, Davidson, Stokes, and Surry.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or equivalent may be required.
  • Experience supervising PTAs and therapy aides in accordance with state practice act preferred.
Assignment Details
  • Facility Type: Home Health.
  • Shift: Days, Monday through Friday.
  • Assignment Type: Travel contract covering home visits across multiple counties (Forsyth, Davidson, Stokes, Surry).
  • On-call: None.
  • Expected documentation responsibilities: complete evaluations, OASIS, treatment and billing documentation per company and regulatory timelines.
