Adecco is currently hiring for Entry-Level Slitter Operators. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing. As a Slitter Operator, you will operate and monitor slitting equipment to cut fabric to specified widths and diameters while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProductionOperate slitting equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
Review work orders to confirm product specifications before production begins.
Complete required line clearance checks at shift start and during product changeovers.
Verify machine settings, knife alignment, and offset setup according to recipes and specifications.
Perform visual and audio inspections during startup and throughout production runs.
Monitor machine performance and communicate equipment concerns to supervisors.
Assist with machine setup and product changeovers as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the slitter, unwinder, rewinder, and surrounding work areas.
Keep equipment and production areas free from debris and foreign materials.
Support packing and other production activities as required.
