Job description

Adecco is currently hiring for Entry-Level Slitter Operators. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing. As a Slitter Operator, you will operate and monitor slitting equipment to cut fabric to specified widths and diameters while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction
  • Operate slitting equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.

  • Review work orders to confirm product specifications before production begins.

  • Complete required line clearance checks at shift start and during product changeovers.

  • Verify machine settings, knife alignment, and offset setup according to recipes and specifications.

  • Perform visual and audio inspections during startup and throughout production runs.

  • Monitor machine performance and communicate equipment concerns to supervisors.

  • Assist with machine setup and product changeovers as needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the slitter, unwinder, rewinder, and surrounding work areas.

  • Keep equipment and production areas free from debris and foreign materials.

  • Support packing and other production activities as required.

  • Participate in shift handoff communications to ensure smooth production flow.

  • Work cooperatively with team members to meet production goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Quality
  • Monitor product quality and report defects or abnormalities immediately.

  • Conduct routine inspections of finished products.

  • Utilize measurement tools and defect calculators as trained.

  • Measure and verify product dimensions according to specifications.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
