Job description

TITLE: LEGACY REWARDS COORDINATOR

REVISED: August 1, 2022

The Legacy Rewards Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all Legacy Rewards/Marketing activities in the Casino Marketing Department are performed accurately and efficiently in accordance with company and departmental policies.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise daily Legacy Rewards Club operations.
  2. Serve as frontline management regarding issues arising from guest concerns and Team Member relations. Resolve said issues using department policies and guidelines.
  3. Assist in creation, preparation, and execution of all casino promotions and events including developing materials, proformas, postformas, written rules, checklists, communications, and post event analysis.
  4. Coordinates and implements promotions and Legacy Rewards Club needs, including ordering, delivery tracking, payments, and communication.
  5. Ensure the execution of agreed-upon contracts with all outside vendors.
  6. Work closely with support departments involved in execution of events and promotions.
  7. Assist with proofing of all advertising materials related to promotions, special events, and the Legacy Rewards Club.
  8. Maintain adequate Team Member levels to ensure sufficient coverage on all shifts including special events.
  9. Train, supervise, discipline, schedule, evaluate Team Members as needed.
  10. Prepare and train all staff on upcoming events and promotions including tracking systems and computer software.
  11. Prepare various departmental reports, and held accountable to a high degree for the accuracy and thoroughness of these reports.
  12. Maintain positive promotion of company and property services and products amongst staff.
  13. Schedule staff for mandatory trainings, and facilitate the flow of information by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled Team Member meetings with all departmental Team Members.
  14. Responsible for maintaining consistent attendance; adjusting schedule as needed to facilitate promotional drawings, concerts, special events, or other duties assigned by department manager.
  15. Responsible for maintaining effective use of resources, scheduling, staff levels, attendance tracking, expense tracking, inventory, and timely payments.
  16. Timely responses and resolves guest inquiries and disputes/issues ensuring the best service.
  17. Coordinate with IT and vendor for all electronic and database maintenance.
  18. All other departmental specific duties as assigned by immediate manager.
  19. Observe and report departmental issues to manager and director.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum age requirement is 21.
  2. Minimum of (3) three years supervisory experience with minimum two (2) years’ working in the Legacy Rewards Club, or in a casino player’s club.
  3. At least (5) five years exposure to a casino environment.
  4. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  5. Must be bilingual, Spanish speaking.
  6. Must work nights and weekends.
  7. Must know attendance and payroll guidelines
  8. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.
  9. Must maintain a professional appearance, and professional attitude at all times.
  10. Willingness to attend trainings, meetings and train others within the casino management system.
  11. Computer literate in Microsoft Suite/Windows and Konami Database.
  12. Must have a valid driver’s license, and be insurable through the casino insurance carrier.
  13. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit.
  2. Repeatedly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  3. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  4. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
  5. Ability to move easily and quickly through the slot and table games areas.
  6. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  7. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  8. Noise level is moderate to high when on casino floor.
  9. Exposure to cigarette smoke, ringing bells, and flashing lights when on the casino floor.
  10. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

SUPERVISES: Legacy Rewards Supervisor, Legacy Rewards Representative

HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary

SALARY: $/hr. / weekly pay / overtime eligible
