Job description

About Grubhub

At Grubhub, we believe food is more than just a meal: It's a source of discovery, connection, and pure enjoyment. There's a time and place for every type of dish, from hidden neighborhood gems to tried-and-true favorites, and we exist to connect people with the food they love in all the ways they like to dig in. We've been at it since 2004, but now, as part of Wonder, Grubhub is operating with a renewed sense of momentum and the high-velocity energy of a powerhouse startup.

As a leading U.S. ordering and delivery marketplace, we feature over 415,000 merchants in more than 4,000 cities, creating the ultimate food experience by elevating online ordering through innovative restaurant technology, easy-to-use platforms, and an improved delivery experience. We are constantly finding new ways to innovate-from integrated grocery delivery with groceries powered by Instacart to exclusive loyalty programs. Join our team, based out of New York City, Chicago and Denver, and help us give our diners the exceptional value they deserve.

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven Director to lead Revenue Operations & Analytics for Grubhub for Business. We are the team that helps companies get food right, from everyday employee meals to large-scale catering, all on one platform, with reliable delivery and high touch human customer service.

This leader will own the machinery that creates a strong customer journey: the full GTM tech stack from first lead through the entire customer lifecycle, and the workflows, processes, and analytics behind every frontline team including Sales, Onboarding and Account Management. They will lead a small, senior team of problem-solvers whose job is to make everyone else's job easier.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who balances long-term vision with short-term execution, and a leader who is passionate about developing a thriving, high-performing team. As a member of the Grubhub for Business senior leadership team, they will drive quantified results across the entire business. If building the engine that makes everyone else better is your bread and butter, let's talk.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Drive the success of the whole business as a member of the Grubhub for Business senior leadership team

  • Lead and inspire a senior team of 4-5 problem-solvers - develop them, stretch them, and promote them while building a strong culture. Includes shaping the org by clarifying existing roles, identifying what's missing, and hiring to fill the gaps.

  • Oversee the full customer journey to improve acquisition, retention and expansion by owning workflows, processes, tools and metrics our frontline teams run on; constantly iterate and improve

  • Own the GTM tech stack, from first lead through the full customer lifecycle. Ensure we have the right tools, obsess over setups, put automation and AI to work, and get everything each tool has to give.

  • Run the rhythm of the business: the dashboards our teams run on every day, the WBR covering detailed metrics each week, the monthly exec MBR.

  • Spot the biggest business problems in the numbers and solve them. No boiling the ocean, just smart targeted analysis, done fast, and the ability to figure out the right next move.

  • Run forecasts, quota setting, comp plan design & administration. Act as a thought partner on floor design (org, roles, territories).

What You Bring to the Table

  • 10+ years in revenue operations and analytics supporting B2B sales teams,

  • 5+ years leading teams. You've hired, coached, promoted, built phenomenal cultures.

  • Thorough understanding of sales funnels (Inbound and outbound) and metrics (conversion rates, cycle times, etc). Experience with high-volume Outbound lead gen and delivery.

  • Thorough understanding of Success funnels and metrics across both expansion and retention. Experience with consumption-based products.

  • A track record of quantified results. You can point to the key metrics you've moved.

  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-changing, startup-like environment

  • Strong analytical skills - comfortable in SQL and BI tools, and willing to go hands-on

  • Expert-level Salesforce and experience with Gong/Salesloft/or/Outreach required; Chili Piper, LeanData, and ChurnZero a plus

As a matter of company policy, Wonder does not sponsor applicants for employment visa status for this role.

Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome-and encouraged-to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.

Chicago base salary: $189,000-$198,500

New York base salary: $210,000-$220,500
