Job description

Position Overview:
MC is seeking a motivated Revit Technician to join our growing structural engineering team. Both experienced professionals and entry-level candidates with strong Revit skills are encouraged to apply.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, supporting structural engineers in the development of high-quality construction documents while growing technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain structural models using Revit.
  • Prepare structural drawings and construction documents for permit and construction.
  • Implement redlines and design changes provided by project engineers.
  • Coordinate structural models and drawings with architects and other consultants.
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of Revit project templates, families, and standards.
  • Support construction administration tasks, including shop drawing coordination, as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Degree or coursework in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proficiency in Revit for structural modeling and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established drafting standards.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a structural engineering office environment.
  • Familiarity with structural systems such as steel, concrete, masonry, and wood framing.
