Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed analysis of COBOL programs, JCL workflows, DB2 databases, VSAM files, and batch processing jobs
  • Identify and document application functionality, business processes, data flows, system dependencies, and integration points
  • Develop source-to-target mappings and technical/functional documentation
  • Identify modernization opportunities and support application migration strategies
  • Leverage AI-assisted analysis and modernization tools to accelerate discovery
  • Provide technical leadership throughout discovery and modernization lifecycle
Required Skills
  • Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and mainframe batch processing
  • Proven experience in application discovery, reverse engineering, and legacy system analysis
  • Experience identifying and documenting business rules, technical logic, and dependencies
