- Managing, coordinating, and implementing charge capture initiatives and processes to improve revenue management and revenue protection.
- Discover the root cause of revenue issues and develop corrective action plans and provide education on those plans to any relevant changes that impact charge reconciliation in the clinical departments (regulatory, policy, payor related, etc.).
- Working closely with assigned departments and ensuring work queues are being addressed and offering support, guidance, and education as needed.
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 Years Experience with CPT/HCPCS Codes or Charging Required
- 3-5 Years Coding Experience Required
- 1-2 years Experience with Charge Validation Reviews Required
- Epic HB/PB Revenue Integrity Experience Preferred
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma Required
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Preferred Or
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Preferred Or
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Preferred Or
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Preferred Or
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Preferred Or
