Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedย Revenue Managerย to join our growing team. This role will beย responsible for monthly and quarterly accounting processes, including revenue recognition and ASP analysis, collaboration revenue and journal entry postings of accounts receivable and revenue related general ledger accounts. This position will report to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close:ย 

  • Responsible for revenue close by managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliation and flux analysis. Responsible for analyzing data and generating revenue recognition adjustments.
  • Responsible for collaborations accounting and reporting process, including analyzing cost activities and calculating monthly revenue (ASC 606), and preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Analyze and reconcile Accounts Receivable and cash collections on a monthly basis between ERP and revenue management cycle systems.
  • Prepare supporting analysis and workpapers to support financial statement disclosures and reporting.
  • Prepare revenue analysis and workpapers to support quarterly tax provisions.

Accounting Compliance:ย 

  • Ensure revenue is recognized accurately and in compliance with relevant accounting standards (ASC 606) and in compliance with contracts.
  • Establish, modify and maintain appropriate company revenue recognition policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure revenue and cost of sales are properly recorded and reported in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Prepare memos documenting company's position on revenue recognition activity in accordance with US GAAP.

Audit & SOX Compliance:ย 

  • Support internal and external audit on audits.
  • Maintain SOX control documentation and perform assigned internal controls documentation to support SOX compliance.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze revenue cycle payor data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement in revenue processes and reporting.
  • Drive, develop and implement continuous improvement in revenue processes and revenue reporting, including systems and process workflows, and controls to support scale and operational excellence.

Collaboration with Business Partners:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Reimbursement, and various internal/external business partners to support revenue reporting.

Other:

  • Assist with other projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Accounting/Finance and 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, including +3 years of public accounting experience andrevenue accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and interpretation of data.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP with expertise in the application of ASC 606, SOX 404, and solid accounting skills.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and Xifin system preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Hands-on, detail oriented and ability to collect and analyze data.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently and collaboratively is essential.
